Hybrid Poplar Cuttings

Fast growth rate.  Photo of trees around the chicken coop are 4 seasons of growth in zone 4/5 southern MN.  The first few years, you need to encourage a central leader with frequent pruning.  I like to grow them in a potting mix in a container the first season and plant out in the Fall after the leaves drop. Sometimes this tree is referred to as the cottonless cottonwood tree.  It has a longer life like the cottonwood without the "cotton" and extremely fast growth rate.
